Rainwater Construction Company’s Ben Rainwater Retires
LONG-TIME PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER’S SON BUILT RAINWATER INTO ONE OF THE MOST TRUSTED COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION FIRMS IN GEORGIA
Ben Rainwater, who capped his decades-long tenure as president of the Rainwater Construction Company with a two-year term as the company’s corporate advisor, officially passed the torch to the next generation of leadership at a retirement celebration this past September at the Cherokee Country Club in Atlanta. The evening provided an opportunity for current and former employees to acknowledge Ben’s years of service, his legacy of growth, and the culture of integrity he fostered that, to this day, sets Rainwater Construction apart from its peers.
Ben’s wife, Marilyn, and their two sons, Matt and Ben Rainwater III, were in attendance, as were Butler Manufacturing President, Christen Brooker Funk, and Vice President of Sales Cameron Z Schrader, who presented Ben with the Butler Lifetime Partner Award. Speakers included Rainwater’s current president, Steven Hudgins.
As Ben embarks on a new chapter filled with travel, time spent with family, and relaxing days on the green, we wish him well and thank him for his years of hard work, his dedication to relationship-based values, and his tireless efforts to build a first-rate company that is nearly seventy years in and still going strong. The entire Rainwater team looks forward to carrying your legacy into another seven decades of best-in-class service and peerless quality.
