Cecil Rainwater founded the Rainwater Construction Company in 1956 with the notion that the key to success was doing a good job at a fair price. Throughout the ensuing decades, he employed his children, wife, and brother, along with a team of dedicated employees, many of whom have spent fifty years or more with the company and are still with us today.
For more than sixty years, this family-owned business has pushed through recessions and economic downturns, managed leadership transitions, and evolved with the advancements in building methodology to complete more than 2,700 projects totaling more than 50,000,000 square feet. Our team has enjoyed the good times and survived the lean times together, and these experiences have given us the experience and know-how we rely on today to deliver a best-in-class product to a customer base that has come to expect nothing less.
Much has changed over the years, but Cecil’s original notion remains a constant. Today, our offices may look a bit different and there may be some new faces around the job site, but we are just as dedicated to delivering quality work at a fair price as Cecil was back in 1956.
